I have not yet seen the schedule, but they normally start at 9am and end about 3pm.
The Graduate Studio Reviews are the 1st year graduate students, working in all different disciplines (photo, sculpture, painting, etc), presenting a body of work to 4 Art & Art History professors. These reviews are open to the public, and anyone can come in the studio buildings, stay and listen to an entire review - or bounce around and look at different art works & listen to different reviews.
The reviews are 1 hour conversations between the artist and the 4 member panel. At the end, the conversation opens up to the public and you can add your comments/questions if you're so inclined.
This is a REALLY valuable experience to witness, particularly if you are interested in continuing your art education.
These reviews are held on UNM Campus, in the Annex and Mattox graduate studio buildings. I'm attaching a map, and have circled where these buildings are!
GO!! If you write a 1 page response about one of the reviews, I'll give you a nice chunk of extra credit in the class.
